CD8000 Series Network Access Controller Series

Single-door, double-door and four-door controllers on one TCP/IP platform.

A controller family for projects that standardise on one access platform across single doors, double doors and four-door groups. CD8001, CD8002 and CD8004 share the same software and communication model.

Overview

The CD8000 series covers three common door configurations: CD8001 for one door with bidirectional readers, CD8002 for two doors with bidirectional readers, and CD8004 for four doors with one-way control per door. All models use a 32-bit ARM platform and TCP/IP communication, so a building can standardise on one controller family and one management interface.

The controllers are designed for continuous operation from -35 °C to +65 °C and include anti-misconnection protection. TCP/IP communication is described as instant even at full capacity, which matters when a lobby gate opens hundreds of times a day. The management software covers access control, attendance, canteen consumption, visitor pre-registration, elevator control, dormitory return statistics and large-screen monitoring.

Choose the model by door count and reader direction: single-door bidirectional, double-door bidirectional, or four-door one-way. Add the browser-based management software, readers, locks and power supplies as a complete system. Confirm the door list and the required reports before ordering.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Which model fits a building with eight doors?

A mix of CD8002 and CD8004 controllers can cover eight doors while keeping spare capacity. Provide the door list with reader direction so we can size the controllers and power supplies.

Can it run without a PC?

The controllers keep local access decisions and records when the management PC is offline, then synchronise when it returns. Confirm the offline capacity for your door count in the quotation.

Does it support elevator control?

Elevator control is a software and hardware option in the platform. Confirm the lift controller interface and the number of floors before ordering.

What software do we need?

The series is managed by the browser-based access platform. Confirm the licence scope, server requirements and language options with us.

Can it coexist with face terminals?

Yes, face terminals with Wiegand or relay outputs can feed the controllers. For face-first entrances, the terminal can also control the lock directly.
