Overview

The CD speed gate family covers the common lobby layouts: full-size wing gates for high-end offices, compact 600 mm models for tight spaces, and 950 mm lanes for luggage or accessible passage. All versions use a 304 stainless steel housing, a self-resetting anti-collision movement and infrared lane monitoring.

The family shares a controller interface: TCP/IP or RS485 communication, relay and Wiegand inputs from face terminals and card readers, triple anti-pinch protection and fire-alarm release. Mechanism life is rated at 8 million cycles for the common models, with servo or brushless drive depending on the variant.

Use the table below to compare the visual variants and lane widths. For a project, confirm the lane count, barrier direction and fire-release interface against the floor plan; the model name alone does not define the lane layout.

Factory or construction site Tripod turnstile, 550 mm lane, one person per rotation
Covered outdoor entrance Canopy plus an IP-rated lane; confirm drainage
Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Which speed gate model fits a compact lobby?

CD-KX205X is the compact 600 mm option; CD-KX207 and CD-KX208 are narrow-arc alternatives. Confirm the actual floor space and queue length before choosing.

Can one lane be widened for luggage or wheelchairs?

Several models support lanes up to 950 mm. Confirm the specific model and barrier width; a wider lane reduces throughput and needs more approach space.

Do the gates open on a fire alarm?

Yes, the lane controller supports fire-alarm release. Confirm the interface type and power-off behaviour with the fire contractor and electrician.

Can the series be integrated with our access platform?

The controller provides TCP/IP or RS485 communication and accepts standard relay/Wiegand signals. Share the platform protocol and lane behaviour requirements at design stage.

Can speed gates be installed outdoors?

Some models support covered outdoor use; direct rain and standing water are not recommended. Specify a canopy and confirm the protection requirement for the site.
