Overview

TM-UAC109 combines a UHF RFID reader and an access controller in one housing. It supports 30,000 cards and 140,000 transactions, reads tags at 0 to 8 m, and connects over TCP/IP with PoE support. Relay outputs can drive a third-party electric lock, while inputs accept a door sensor, exit button and alarm.

The reader operates in the 902–928 MHz F band or 865–868 MHz E band, with 9 dBi antenna gain and 0–33 dBm output power. IP66 protection allows outdoor installation at vehicle gates or loading areas. Standard access functions include anti-passback, and the device can be managed by the local AAS 6.0 software or cloud software.

Typical applications include long-distance vehicle access, staff without hands-free badges, logistics yard gates and industrial doors. Because UHF read range is affected by tags, metal and antenna orientation, plan a site test before fixing the mounting height and angle.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

How far can it read a vehicle tag?

The terminal is specified for 0–8 m. Actual range depends on tag type, mounting angle, metal around the tag and RF environment; plan a site test before fixing the installation.

Can it open a barrier gate directly?

The relay output can trigger a barrier gate controller or electric lock. Confirm the gate controller input type and isolation with your installer.

Does it work with metal vehicles?

Metal detunes UHF tags and can shield them. Use a vehicle-grade tag, mount it away from metal, and adjust the antenna angle during commissioning.

Can it be used for pedestrian access?

Yes, it supports long-distance pedestrian access. For a narrow pedestrian lane, reduce the output power or use a shorter-range reader to avoid reading tags outside the lane.

What software manages it?

It can be managed by AAS 6.0 local software or cloud software, with TCP/IP communication. Confirm the licence and server requirements in the quotation.
